I am having a problem with my computer. It has started asking me for a password during start-up. I did not enable this. I cant get into bios setup or anything. Anyone know how to get around this?

Clarification please:
Does this happen at bootup, or when entering windows?
If at bootup, you need the manual for the motherboard (MB) to describe how to reset the BIOS by shorting pins on the MB. That will reset the BIOS to default clearing the password...at least it should.

If your talking about a Windows password:
Click on Start
Settings
Control Pannel
Users
select your user name and click on Set Password
Make sure all three password blocks are empty and click on OK
You shouldn't be asked for a password any more.
