Printing from Terminal Services Problems!!

Hi,

I have a remote user that connects into out terminal server through the remote desktop connection/terminal services and they are having trouble with printers attached locally to their machine not showing up and giving them the ability to print when connected to the terminal server. It seems to just be hit or miss...sometimes the printers show up and they're able to print, sometimes they do not. She has two printers hooked up to her local machine currently, one is just a officejet and the other is a laserjet. I've updated the remote desktop connection utility (which was a supposed fix), and I've installed the nessessary drivers on the terminal server for her specific printer (worked at first and now nada).

If anyone has any info on why this might be happening, like links or something I would greatly appreciate it.

Did you try installing the drivers on the machine that is hosting the print server service?

Does her printer go into a sleep state?

Well, we actually got it to work about half way. As you said, we installed the drivers on the machine hosting the print server service and all was well, but now, it seems like periodically, the user when connected remotely to the server, it will just drop both of her printers and not recognize that they are connected. I don't know if it's an issue of like timing out to where she's been on so long with little activity that it drops the printers or what. Usually a quick log off from the remote connection and log back in fixes this problem. It's just getting annoying for her to have to do this everyday a couple times a day.
