Question Can't get rid of MSN as home page

We just got a new computer, Windows XP, DSL, Pentium R D , 3.4ghz, 2 gigs of ram. In IE, MSN comes up as homepage no matter what we do. We usually have Google as the homepage. Any suggestions to resolve this will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Do you have any Internet Security/Anti-Spyware software that would protect the setting?

We have spyware but....

that doesn't seem to be the problem. When we use Mozilla, it goes to the Google homepage but when I use IE, it won't stop using MSN as homepage.
Thanks for asking - any ideas?
Larry

Here's some ideas. If you don't want to muck around in the registry scroll down to the bottom of the page for a free progam that may help.

you never did answer the question. some will protect the home page in specific browsers

So I repeat the question
Do you have any Internet Security/Anti-Spyware software that would protect the setting? If so what are they.

Thanks to both Dan and Rainbow 32. Dan ...

I do not believe that they do, since we have been using the same anti-spyware all along. We use AdAware Plus Se and Zone Aalarm. Where would I look in those to check. I have little expertise with this and do appreciate your help.
Thanks Larry

Zone Alarm.
There is your problem. It is blocking the home page settings.
As for fixing the problem , Some say safe mode and some say uninstall it change your page and reinstall it.

I cant verify it because I will not let Zone Alarm near any machine I own.
