Internet Explorer Error when I close...

When ever I close my IE browser, I get one of those errors where it says you can either send the report or not. This never used to happen it just sorta one day happened. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I'm on another comp then my siggy says: Windows xp Media center.

How do I fix this?

Thanks for reading. All help is appreciated.

Have you tried to do a restore of your registry to a couple days ago when it didnt do it?? (Might work, fixes many things)

Have you added any SW or made any changes in the last few days since this started??

Good luck to you!!

Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

buttons to click: |Send| or |don't send|

That's pretty much what I get then it explains that you can send the report to microsoft or not. I click view report and it says stuff about the report although I it won't let me copy the text and paste it.

Try turning your computer on and doing this

1) Hold F8 until a menu appears
2) Select option 5 (Command Prompt)
3) Type this @ the C prompt: scanreg/restore
4) Select an entry from before this started (Which hopefully was recently as there are only 5 saved dates/points (@ least on mine))

This is basically a restore......

Good luck

Thanks. But this wouldn't mess anything would it? Like recently installed programs? Or make things not function properly? Or cause side effects of any kind?

Other then that, would reinstalling IE help or updating to IE 7? Btw when does IE 7 come out is it already out??

Is IE 7 out and stable?

Edit: As explained in the first post (above), I'm on WINDOWS XP. So IE 7 would work. I just need to know if it's able to be downloaded that it's not a beta verson or anything. Okay.
