opening a file
Whenever i open a .pl or .cc file it opens with gedit and shows the code. How do i open it as a program an actual program???
am using linux Ubuntu

Make it executable, using the command (from a terminal) "chmod +x ./file.cc", then just run "./file.cc".
Make sure you change 'file.cc' to the actual file on your machine. (ie: /home/philmetz/hello.cc)
