Can't delete ViRobotXP dll file

I don't know if this message goes here or not. Please advise if not.

My service with Hauri ViRobot ran out and I installed a different virus program. As I was uninstalling ViRobot through the Add/Delete program, my computer shut down (I won't bore you with the details of how dumb that was!).

Now I have an error message whenever I go into Outlook: The add-in “C:\Program Files\ViRobotOP\VrCli.dll” could not be installed or loaded.

Does anyone know how I can delete this nonexistent dll file? It's not anywhere on my computer that I can find. Plus, the error message says to run Outlook's Repair function which I've done three times, without success.

Thanks

Linda

Looked around the ViRobot support for this and nothing.
Did find a similar problem with users of Mcaffee, Kapersky and Norton's AV programs. What was suggested was to go to-
Documents and Settings\{username}\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\extend.dat
Rename extend.dat to extend.datold.
Reboot your computer and see if this works.

Glad to help get rid of that pest. Guess we can add ViRobot to the list along with Mcaffee, Kapersky and Norton's.
