Query: I have used the version of Easy CD Creator that I have for a few years. To make a backup of my music notation files, I simply get them from the file folder where I have them stored in My Documents.
Today, however, some of the files are refused. I am asked to change the files name, and told that a file's name cannot exceed 64 characters. Well, none of my files exceed 64 chardacters. Yet, when I opt to change ANYTHING about the file's name, it suddently is acceptable!
I don't want to change the file's name. I like it just the way it is, and so did Easy CD Creator like it (until now).
Another brand new problems that arises is that Easy CD Creator somehow does not recognize the fact that Happy Birthday.MUS and Happy Birthday.BAK are two separate files. The one is merely a "backup" file for the other, and is what the music notation program that I have always does (creates two files, instead of one). Thus, I am suddenly plagued with the question, "Do you want to replace Happy Birthday with Happy Birthday? No file extension for either file is give, and I can only surmise that the two files indicated have the different sort of extension as I have indicated.
What is troubling is that this has not happened in previous years. What could possibley have gone wrong?
