Ive reinstalled Flash 8 numerous times along with Flash 9 thru both IE 6 and NS 8.1.2 .
Also installed JRE 1.6.0

when I go to www.youtube.com (http://www.youtube.com) and click a video thru NS or IE it gives me:
Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Click here (http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer/) to get the latest flash player.

I do the "click here" reinstall it both thru NS and IE and still cant play youtube videos.
Makes me mad....because now I still cant view em. Cleared all my temp files, cookies, prefetch folder and so on...scanned with 7 different spyware progs and I have no spyware. :curse:
...............................or do I? and I dont know about it?...
Help me ATTACK THIS PROBLEM so I can watch youtube videos again on their site like I used to be able to a week ago.

Thanks.

Hi
has anyone solved the problem with not being able to view vids on youtube even though Macromedia Flash and Java script are both tested and working properly, worked for awhile after re-installing windows

I didn't have to re-install Windows. I deleted Adobe Flash using Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs and re-installed only the latest version of Flash. There must have been some conflict between what was already there and the newer version at some point when I updated Flash. Try that.
