Annoying clicking sound...

Hey all. Just wondering if there's a way to get rid of that annoying clicking sound any time I click on a page or button in Internet Explorer? It's extremely annoying when I'm listening to music while writing e-mails or browsing the web etc. and a *click* *click* happens every time I click on anything.
Any ideas appreciated. Thanks!
Oh, and I searched for it in the forums, but don't really know what someone would have it titled as.

When you click on "Sounds and Multimedia" a dialog box will open with a list of "Sound Events". As you go down the list of events you will see that some of them have a little speaker icon next to them. Those are events that have a sound associated with them. You can change the sound or choose "None" for all of them to eliminate all of the sounds
