Greetings,
I would like to buy software downloaded from the web (The Bible Code software from one of the companies that produces Bible Code software). I will be the only person using the software, but I want to install it on two different computers. Would the software producer have a problem with this? I will be the only person using the software.
Also, when I install the software, does the company have some way of preventing it from being installed on another computer? I plan to simply burn the download onto a CD and unload it onto the second computer.
Thanks, econ

Howdy:
You would need to check their Terms of Use or FAQ's to get the answer for that..
As for restricting extra installations, if the program needs to be activated or registered before it can be used, then you would only be able to install it once!!

Without knowing exactly what software you are purchasing and exactly what company you are purchasing it from, we cannot answer this question. However, when you install it there should be a terms of use that you have to agree to. Read it and it will tell you.
I do find your second question interesting, here you are wanting to download bilble software and you want to steal it if they do not allow a second install. I sure hope you are not a christian because if you are, you are giving them a bad name.

Answer to Dan: The Bible Code is not "Christian" or anything else per se except obviously an application of a set of statistical theorems and possibly proof of an ultimate intelligence.
The reason I asked the question is because of ethics, not in spite of them. I will download it to two computers if I am able, if I can't or shouldn't I won't.
You have some interesting comments yourself, from a guy with an icon that has horns growing out of his head. econ
