hi. how do i update the list of media my computer has in media player in ME? since every time the location says it doesnt find it but i just moved it toa different directory how do i do it?
how do i update the dll that i have in my ME? are the dll in xp more advanced than the one at ME? if so, then can i copy their dll to my windows directory?
why is it when i edit the autoexec.bat file, one of my programs won't load anymore at startup? why?
when i tried to run windows update why is it it says that i can download windowsmedia player 9 when i know that its not possible for ME right? Why?
why is it that there is always the restore folder in the directory of c and yet even when i disabled system resore it is still in there? why? is it safe to delete it and then ghost it later so it will be easier to ghost?

Thanks for answering my question

-- if you want Windows Media Player to find the player list, you have to return it to the directory where you found it.

-- leave dll's alone.. changing them will crash your system.

--changing autoexec.bat - you apparently deleted a program in
this file and now it cannot start.

-- Windows Media Player v9 will run on Windows ME.
You have to get the right download version.

-- disabling restore feature does not delete the 'restore points'
if you wish, you can delete them.. not recommended that you run your system without the restore feature enabled.
I know nothing about ghosting, except for Halloween.
