A compliment for you people =)
I've been a member of this site now for a few months and I think I've learnt nearly twice as much as I did before I registered. I was completely clueless on most aspects of IT before coming here. Thanks for the help!

I would have to agree 100%. Though I still haven't learned a whole lot, I'm definately learning a ton more than I was before I found CTH. There's such a large vat of knowledge here, and so many people who know a whole lot more than I would ever dream of.

Is it sad that half of everything I know about computers and such I didn't learn in school, I learned them on my own?......on forums such as this, and in books, and from friends, and google? (and wikipedia if the article has good references)
