I cleaned out my cache last night ,deleted all my temporary internet files , then went into settings and selected and deleted all cookies and when i got up i had a blue screen with an error message saying my hard drive may be corrupt..........went into safe mode and tryed to recover last configuration , and that didn't work , anyway restarted and then it says that i had a corrupted login but lets me login somehow...........now i have lost all my downloaded prgrams in my documents, all pictures in my pictures, my internet connection isn't functioning, i have to go through internet connection wizard to get back online every time i restart machine.
Has anyone seen this problem ? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Lance - welcome to CTH. Try repairing Win2K. Step by step instructions are here (http://www.windowsreinstall.com/install/win2k/repairw2k/page1.htm)

hi,

If u happen to have another login with admin privileges then log on into it and then remove the administrator folder in c:\documents and settings\ after backing up all the necessary folders....like mydocuments, desktop etc

now relogin into the admin folder and u can get a new desktop.
now replace your my documents .desktop etc....

until now u have been logging into the default login in which u cannot save anything...

try this .....best of luck

bye
