i got a new card and i plug everything in correct but the monitor wont turn on?

We need a bit more info than you got a new card and plugged it in and monitor won't work. What video card and what computer did you install this in? Did you remove the old card's drivers before doing this? Give us some system specs and we help a heck of a lot easier.
