Appology

i would like to set the record straight here.. after reading certain comments

I thought that was important enough to bring to everyones attention..... Fake or not.. how can we tell????

I did mark on the post in capital letters DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME....how much clearer could i have been.. ???

I am sorry that Dudeking due to his teenage inquisitiveness decided that despite all the warnings he would try and has ended up in cybersafety...
Perhaps he will listen next time .. but i doubt it.... ( no supper for you young man)

If seeing that video has stopped one person from making that mistake it was worth it

Well you did neglect to take into account the daredevil mentality of some.
Did you get a chance to see my apology, yes it's spelled with 1 p, before it got yanked from another thread in OD?
Dudeking is still looking for those posts in that thread, but it's all for naught I'm afraid.
Goggle, oops I mean Google, didn't have time to cache the page with the missing posts before they vanished.

You dont have to say sorry.
I knew what I was doing when I went to the page.

Like fleamailman said
It seems that people (stupid people (like me)) were using it to test security.

Im not bothered with a bit of malware and im sure that any one that was or didnt know what was going on woudnt go to the site.
But I proved with ie's built in popup blocker and windows firewall everything was okay.

No halm done.

Really? Why did you leg it to the Cyber Safety Forum then? We have better things to do with our time than clean up self-inflicted infections.

Okay, I'm goin' to bed anyway, got an IT exam tomorrow any way, need sleep

I was half way through writing a huge thread complaining about posts being deleted, but I can be bothered to post it.
I will probily just get deleted

Then again so will this thread, 'cuz we all havnt been good member and said oh that's okay BM

nvm

I expect to be awake to find the thead closed if not delted tomorrow.
That or just this post gone.
Or maby even a ban, but hay, its a lucky dip

Can't OD have a off-topic sub forum or somthing?
Off topic posting is really fun, it's like the what is it's dammit used to do.
They were great, and even after the game was over the threads lasted for a few days with off-topic chat.

Oh god this post seems to have turned into a rant any way.
nvm....off to bed with me....

Personly I don't think posts do go off topic, its like mind games where you say the first thing that comes to your head. Things people say make other people think of things that they may wish to share.

Okay even if you don't want posts chaging from there original point, when deleting please give notice or just leave a note???
I got a PM off BM asking if the thread had been deleted and why lets chat had suddenly got two pages shorter....or it may have been me asking her....I can't remember...but there was a conversation.

God I ranting on....any way I'm off.
