Sounds like your after an RTS (real time stratergy) game. I know of a few, but none that are less than 50mb. You won't find many rts games smaller than 50mb because of large maps etc. A few good games are :
Rise Of Nations.
Empire Earth. (this one is quite fun as the missions take forever to complete, One of the german missions took me 7 hours )
Age Of Empires 1 / Rise Of Rome expansion / II.

Try some of the more classic RTS games too. Empire Earth and Age of Empires are both good, but don't rule out classics like C&C Red Alert 2/Tiberian Sun. I reckon the C&C: The First Decade pack might be right up your alley. Empire Earth can be had for about USD$10 in the bargain bin of any retail store. Look out for Starcraft and the expansion Brood War in the bargain bins too. Total Annihilation is another classic, but unfortunately isn't sold anymore - check eBay or something. Also checkout the recently released DEFCON: Everybody Dies or the game that made its developers famous, Darwinia. Dark Reign 2 and Ground Control are both good RTS budget titles, and Ground Control 2 is becoming just as cheap. If you also like the First Person Shooter genre, Battlezone 2 might be a good purchase as a RTS/FPS hybrid - I believe it's part of the same budget series of titles as Dark Reign and Ground Control.

Check back on the Games forum in about 24 hours, look for the thread with about 50 posts by me. You'll find plenty of full free games. There won't be too much up your alley in the RTS genre, but there'll be a few there - and who knows, you might find something else you like in a different genre.
