diablo II version 1.0
Hi it is bobby8 I just started to play diablo II version 1.0 .I herd i can get a cd patch for this game. I don't know about this so I hope someone can help with this.
 I do have the full game .

Hi.
1stly you need to patch to the current official version - last time I played/had DII installed I think it was up to 1.09? 2ndly, no-cd patches (hacks) are not legal and will not be discussed here at CTH.

Hi again. No problem, no apology required.
The internet is absolutely crammed full of things that are not legal - software cracks are just one. Just because it's on the internet doesn't mean you should be using it. Take a walk down your main street on a Saturday night and I bet you'd see a lot of stuff that you know is not legal, but there it is.

To get the latest version of the patch all you have to do is connect onto Battle.net, and it should update automatically.

Another way to get the patches is to go to Blizzards website and download them. You just need to go to the Diablo II download page. I have d2 w/ exp. pack. Also, I used Alcohol 120% for my games so I wouldn't have to keep the CD loaded. Worked fine. I ripped them to my HDD and then installed through A-120's v-drives and it installed the game pretty quick, and NO need for me to change disc 4+ times. I've never used a no-cd patch though. I've never had a need to try to find one... I'm not sure if you can use other programs to rip it like IMGBurn, and then just use Virtual Clone Drive (or another program that has virtual drives) to run it. BTW, IMGBurn & Virtual Clone Drive are free. You can also get Daemon Tools which is also free.

All Avalible Patches From Blizzard.com
Go there for the patches.. You can download ANY of them to play on Single player (offline) When you connect online.. You will automatically overwrite the patch you have (If it isnt 1.11b) to play online.. There are also private servers.. Where you can play online with other patches.. If you would like more information on private servers just ask.. On private servers.. 3rd Party programs such as "Maphack".. ect.. Are aloud.. And The servers "tweek" the previous patches so there are new items and sets.. Very fun but.. Not many people know about them..
