okay, it opens in safe mode. So what is the problem? You really did not state a problem. If you are not able to open it in normal mode, exactly what error messages do you get?

Hi dxrchild,

Maybe the following link will solve your problem of your game opening in safe mode. (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314254)

as you know a game in safe mode looks like the games in the 70's on the atari
very poor graphics

the message is like this: safe mode has been enablesd because your system is currently unable to use hafdware acceleration. performance and quality will be affected (it is, it looks terrible) product support services does not support safe mode.

so my question is how do i get flight sim to be the best it can on xp ??? what drivers or hardware or software is there to improve flight sim 2002?
