Question Games crash my laptop, please help!

Hi,

I have recently tried to play any game on my laptop, for example Colin Mcrae Rally 2005, GTR2, Need for Speed Most Wanted and PlaneShift. The games install fine and have no problems but when I start any of these games fullscreen after about 20/30 seconds into the menu systems (to select character, options etc.) my laptop just packs in. Everything is frozen and I cant do anything, Ctrl Alt Delete doesnt work so I have to do the old power off/on option.

I think this may be a graphics card problem and wasnt sure which forum to post this in. Can anyone help me out in anyway? Im fed up of trying different games!!

Mart

What kind of Laptop have you got? Laptops arent exactly built for gaming, The graphics chip may be locking up due to it being so "hard out" or something..
