Is the laptop already wireless? If not you will need a wireless pcmia card or adaptor and a wireless router. Thats all. Another way to hook it up is a long cable.

Just to clearify the "Long Cable".

Make sure it is the Cat5 able that is the long one. Not the cable comming from the phone line. DSL has a limit of 15ft though Cat3, so it is even lower with cheaper phone cables. I'm not saying that it won't work, it might. But after time the rel. cap will raise so high that you will lose sync from your central office.

Well, that is what you get from working for VerizonDSL. :hmm:

You would need a wireless router to plug into the dsl modem. You could go with a wireless modem/router if you want, but if you already bought a dsl modem then a wireless router will do. Then all you have to do is plug the cat5 "ethernet cable" into your dsl modem then plug the other end into the wireless routers WAN port.
