Exclamation Please Help

I have a Toshiba A-75 206 laptop. I recently opened it up to clean the fans out and when I put it back together the network card is unseen by the computer. The light that usually shows the wi-fi connection being on does not come on either. I have tried using windows to search for the hardware but it does not find it. I am using windows XP.

Almost guaranteed you yanked a wire loose by mistake while inside the chassis. Double-check.

you may have broken a wire inside the the cable covers, which is going to be hard to check without a multi meter

does your laptop have a button to turn on the wireless at or somewheres around the light? If so, make sure its pressed.

Ryan sorry to remove your messenger ID but I didn't want you getting a heap of messages that were spam or worse. We don't really work that way here at CTH all help is given in the forum so that others with the same problem later on may search the forums and find an answer to the question. As for your problem is you go into device manager take a look for network adapters see do you see the wireless adapter even listed if so is there a ! or ? beside it?
