Strange colours in video playback.

Hi guys,

I'm getting strange colours when I play back certain videos on my pc. The video i'm trying at the moment is a wmv file and i've tried using windows media player and media player classic. I'm thinking its a codec problem but i'm not sure. It doesn't happen on all videos.

The same videos work on my laptop which doesn't have any aftermarket codec packs installed.

Any ideas?

Could try troubleshooting the codec problem with GSpot.

Unbelievable, i posted the problem and have now solved it 2 minutes later. I was running media player 9. I've now updated it and its running fine. Thanks.
