Install binary packges

I have SUSE 10.1 installed and working but my video carrd requires a driver that i have downlaod from the site is in a binary file. I have no Terminal experience and have install rpm packages before. can any one help me to install the driver. Thank lyou

if it has a .bin ending, simply navigate to it in the console and type ./filename.bin, where filename is the name of the binary file you downloaded.

even when i run under the root user in the konsole have a permisson denied

it normally wouldn't deny you under root but you could also try explicitly setting permissions:

chmod u+x filename.bin
./filename.bin

it says that the chomd command isnt reconized

chomd should be "chmod".
