installation?
I bought Doom 3 some time ago. However, I uninstalled it because I got a new computer, and then lost the CDs because I moved. I still have the original CD key. Is there anything I can do besides buying a new copy?

I don't think there is. Try contacting Activision and tell them you have the original CD key and your problem. I do know that sometimes they will charge just a couple of quid for replacement CD's, cheaper than buying the full game again.
