I am trying to open files on a zip disk where I have downloaded MP3 files. When I try to open I get an error message that says I must create a "file association" through My Computer. I can't get anything to work... how do I tell the computer to open the mp3 files on the zip disk with Windows Media Player? I also get an error message when I search that says the winamp.exe file cannot be found. Are these two messages related? Help!

Yes what seems to have happened is you had winamp installed but have since uninstalled it.

When you install winamp you can choose to associate mp3's and other music files with winamp so when you run the mp3's winamp loads to play them.

Try highlighting one of the mp3's you want to play. Then hold down SHIFT and right click the file.

Choose "Open With" and pick Windows Media Player.

If this doesn't work then we'll have to try something else.

Please let us know how it goes....
