IP pickup
I'm using an IBM laptop with built in wireless. In hotel lobbies I have very good signal strength. When I attempt to log onto the net the computer can not receive and IP address. I turned off the firewall but no results.
Other people appear not to have a problem. Did I miss something? |

Yes. I can pick up wireless signals and IP addresses in other hotels. I am using Win XP Pro.

Could just be that one place, and the way they setup the network.
