Help with warcraft and xbox live connection

Ok, I'm playing warcraft or call of duty 2 on xbox live, and all of a sudden it disconnects me. I have dsl, and run on a 2wire modem. It has 3 lights, and the middle one starts to blink orange when this happens. i open task manager and see svchost.exe. Well thers eight of them and that seems unusual to me. Theres only suppose to be 3-4. I right clickthe one with the highest VM size and end process tree. It then goes back tomorrow and the broadband light is back to green. I usually have to restart warcraft or my xbox 360, and its very annoying. Any questions like more info or something plz ask, i need answers. thanks
