Ok, here goes. I can play call of duty 2 fine, on fairly high settings with no lag problems. Occasionly I will get fps lag but il close xfire, mcafee and spyware doctor and some other stuff and its fine.
My system specs are:
Intel pentium 4 processor 3.0
1gb of ram
Radeon 9550 256mb gfx card
Now heres the problem, when I play css, my fps goes down to 10 during fighting. It recommends me to have all my settings on high, ive put them down to low and it makes no difference. Ive had an admin check all my rates and they are fine, all the crap that causes lag on the graphics page are turned off, Ive played it with all the above programs closed, and still nothing will work.
Ive also tried playing a very old game medal of honour allied assault and on low graphics my fps was also 10 :\
This problem is driving me nuts, it really is giving me grief, ive got the latest drivers, ive re-installed steam and css, tried other steam accounts, tried defragmenting and nothing has worked so far. I used to play css on highest graphics with no problems, please somebody help me.
