Explorer error

Hey everyone i have just reformatted my hard drive due to windows me losing a couple of files and now i have got everything reinstalled every timei try to click on my computer i get an error message saying explorer has caused an error in FTP.DLL explorer will now close please help coz i don't want to reformat my HD again!

I search all over TechNet and couldn't even find a reference to
FTP.DLL. There are many listings for it in google, but none of
which relate to Windows. Now the question is, what programs
did you install after Windows ME was installed?

If you misspelled, you may have a virus called 'ftapp' ??

Hey again the only programs i installed were AOL, IMesh and icq aside from the drivers of course anyway i have now uninstalled Me and gone back to windows 98 SE and this seems to have done the trick so thanx 4 replying
