Hello,what should the typical role setting for my computer be.

( Desktop Home Pc. or Network) I have a home Desktop ,my
setting is network.would the wrong setting cause Log on to the
internet problems.

once the computer has 128 megabyte of RAM or more, it is recommended that typical role is set to network.

(All the articles I came across explain that this is about memory management)

What a great site,thanks for the info.I'm a little leary about
changing my Registry without knowing the out come if I do something wrong, But I probably do it anyway. will Post back
the results.
