I have been an internet user since 2001 (every day bar about 7), and having tried a cross-section of browsers I can honestly say that - in my opinion - IE 7 is outstanding. I used the beta 2 version for ages so perhaps that gave me an unfair advantage.
No, Mr Gates is paying me nothing to say this at all (oh, that he was!!!!).
Yes, I have used Firefox on many occasions but I am one of those who have had continual problems with it. It is installed on my spare computer but I refuse to have it on my main work computer.
Probably the fastest browser of all is Avant which, of course, relies heavily on IE.

Thumbs up

I have had the opposite experience Blackmirror.
I've had nothing but trouble with IE6,so i was pleased when IE7 was released.
But i was mistaken,IE7 was not even usable on my system. (and yes i did follow all the recomendations for installing it)
I have been trying Firefox 2 for the first time over the last few days, and so far i love it!
It even has an add-on for opening pages in IE for those MS sites/updates.

I prefer FF but know that IE is a necessity.

I have both IE6 and FF on my computer.
I don't wish to experiment with IE7.
I did browse a while with FF but I can't compare it with IE.
Fan of IE too.

Both

I use both IE7 and FireFox. Both are good in my opinion.

I mainly use FireFox. [I like all the extensions - IE is catching up though, it seems] Also, with some sites it is imperative to use IE.
