Spam deletion
I am using a filter on my emails to send Spam type emails straight to the delete box. I can then gather them together and do a final permanent deletion.
This works but I am wondering where all of those permanent deletions actually go? Are they cluttering up my hard drive somewhere? I can't see any reference in the recycle bin or are they sent to an area which is being frequently overwritten again and again? Thanks, James

they are being sent to the land of the lost, generally speaking they are being rewritten over and over again.
