View Full Version : What Software Can Help Me Create Video Tutorials?

I am wondering if there are any good programs out there that will allow me to create video tutorials by capturing what's on my screen and my voice as a narrator. You see, I want to create numerous tutorials for people who want to use ikonBoard (http://www.ikonboard.com) to make installation easier (as if it's not easy enough  ) and other tutorials on messing around with iB.

The most fanciest stuff I have on my computer is Macromedia Studio 8 (Dreamweaver, Fireworks, & Flash). But I'm still not that familiar with the programs (believe it or not, even having those programs, I still prefer GIMP). So I'm not sure if Flash can do something like that or not. I know that I can create a menu (play, stop, pause, etc) with it, but other than that, I'm lost in this project.

Oh, just a note, I LOVE free software, but it doesn't have to be free.

Hi

I think you can do that sort of thing with Arcsoft Showbiz

Cheers

No, it says that's for creating home video and burning onto DVDs. I'm not sure exactly how to say it, but let me find a video tutorial as an example. Thanks for replying though Bean. BTW, I loved your show.

Yes it does but I think it has the facility to capture AV from other sources as well.

Thanks BTW. I put a lot of time and effort into it:happy:
