I recently bought a Creative Sound ABlaster Audigy SE and a creative 7.1 surround sound system for my computer. I used creatives Media Souce Program to test my speakers and they all work but when I use them with any other program only 2 speakers and the sub are playing. Any help?
Oh yeah, I already checked in control panel and the speakers are set to 7.1 home theater system.

do you have a utilty that comes with the sound? if so, try that.

Well, I figured out one way to do it. There was a setting that came with the software from Creative that enables CMSS (I'm guessing that the last two letters stand for surround sound) and now everything is working right.
