IE 7 - Having problems

I downloaded IE 7 recently and now everytime I try to turn on Bearshare or Musicmatch or Windows Media Player, none of them will work. Either they don't come on at all, freeze up or just don't connect. Then, if I manage to get them turned off w/o freezing up, when I try to open my Yahoo Home Page, all I get is a blank screen, at the top it says "Connecting..." but it never comes up. I usually have to restart the computer. It's really frustrating. What can I do?

How do you know that IE7 is causing this problem?

Since your using a file sharing prog, Bearshare, I would post a HiJackThis log in the Cyber Safety forum to rule out a virus/malware problem causing this. Follow this link on how to post a HiJackThis log-

I don't know for sure that it's IE 7. But since it's the last thing I downloaded, before I started having problems, I'm guessing that's what it is. I could be wrong. I did a virus scan last night that came up clean or so it said. Here's the HiJack log.

I've thought abt it. If that's what I need to do, I'll do it. Just wanted to see what options I had first.

You posted your HJT log in the Internet/Browsers forum instead of Cyber Safety which means per forum rules it can't be commented on.
I would do one thing through and get rid of the Kontiki download manager and opt for a one that won't download junk on your computer without your knowledge as Kontiki may do.
This one, Download Express, is recommended by the author of SpyBot S&D and is adware/spyware free. It's also free for personal use.

Sorry, I didn't see where you said I should post it in the Cvber Safety Forum, just that I should post the log. I didn't know there was a rule against that. How would I get rid of the Kontiki Download manager? Thanks!

Isn't it listed in Control Panel>Add/Remove programs?
If not repost your HiJackThis log in Cyber Safety and ask whoever helps you there about that.
