no sound on online videos that require flash player

I've uninstalled/reinstalled flash player all different versions, checked in options for problems, updated sound drivers, installed ace mega codecs pack, tried installed divx, nothing seems to get sound on any online videos that use flash player. and yes, my speakers are plugged in. any help? im not sure as to what else i can do

Have you checked toos /internet options/ advanced / under multimedia whether play audio in web pages is checked
