I've been using MSN on my new Macbook for several months now, all of a sudden when I try and log in it says,
Sign in to Microsoft Messenger Failed because the service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.
It's been unavailable for 2 weeks? I dont think so.
I tried downloading it again but still...

No, there is no code. It just simply says "Sign in to Microsoft Messenger Failed because the service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."

As far I'm aware, MS hasn't dropped the MSN for Mac service (yet), so there should be no reason why it's not working - at least until Windows Live becomes the required standard. Is your account still valid? Do you have a firewall or other security software that could be blocking the connection? Do you have the latest version of Mac MSN? Is your account upgraded to a Windows Live one?
