Firefox resets settings every time I close it
Whenever I close firefox 2.0, when it starts again the settings such as toolbar customization resets to its default. I tried deleting the localstore.rdf file in the firefox profiles folder but that didnt help either. Any ideas?

Don't know if this will help you since you've already deleted the localstore.rdf file but its worth a try

Thats the site I got the information to delete the localstore.rdf file, but i tried both methods (safe mode and localstore) and the same thing happens: It starts up with the bookmarks toolbar open, then when i re-open firefox, the bookmarks toolbar is gone and the customization (such as the new tab button on the nav. toolbar) is reset. I keep my history, bookmarks, custom search engines, etc but the buttons and other customization is reset.
