I have W95, IE and use Juno for email and web connection. I can connect and get email but I cannot connect to the internet. I get an error message: RAS erro 720; no PPP protocols configured. It says I need to reinstall RAS, but I believe it is already, and I don't know how to find RAS on my cd. I also get some sort of terminal screen when I open IE that looks like a dos screen. What is this? Can anyone help?

Are you subscribing to their internet service, because Juno has always had free email? If your paying for the service then maybe you can find some help by contacting them.

No, I do not pay, but I was paying a local ISP before Juno and they couldn't fix the problem either.

RAS = Remote Access Server

Given the apparant problem with RAS and PPP it looks to me as if you need to reinstall your dialup networking and do a fresh configuration of your modem.

Can I just run through the internet connection wizard? Will that take care of reinstalling dial up networking or do I actually need to reinstall something from the W95 cd? Thanks.

I would suggest that at this point you simply do an overinstall of W95. Simply put your CD in the CD reader and select install.

Hopefully this will deal with the Remote Access issue.
