Windows ME - Explorer

Hi

I don;t know if anyone will be able to help me on this, but I was wondering if there's any way to get Windows Expolorer to open in a specific directory (eg d:\downloads)??

Everytime I open explorer it defaults to "My Documents".

I have tried adding the directory to the end of the traget path, but nothing happens??

This depends on how you invoke (start) Windows Explorer.

I'm going to assume you invoke it via the Start button. Put your pointer
over Windows Explorer
right-mouse click
Properties
there is a cell (slot) there named Target
it should say
C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.SCF
change it to
C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE /n,/e,C:\the_folder_you_want
