I just switched from dialup to dsl modem & Free Outpost Firewall blocks the loading of websites by blocking netbios, had to uninstall Outpost to use the net. Could still use my dialup to get to sites, but not with DSL couldn't find how to allow the websites to load, so presently running without firewall, any suggestions ??

try in outpost options / system , click to change the LAN settings. Use the detect setting once its connected to your DSL

Well Sygate worked fine, then discovered a new twist it screwed up some of the card games my wife & I play like Freecell, by process of elimination got the problem down to Sygate. Still couldn't get Outpost to work so am using ZoneAlarm 5.5 Pro ver. on trial right now, that's the only ver that will work with Win98se, anyone got any suggestions, as my sister is talking about switching to DSL modem, she is using Outpost as well, I'll have to hook her up,
