Angry Invalid Media Or Track 0

In my penti-2 IBM comp. Hard drive corrupted, had too many bad clusters
After trying different ways, format, fdisk etc. failed to load window 98
Then tried dban, when I tried to format again to load window 98, the pop
Read as “Invalid media or Track 0 bad disk unusable”.

Can anybody help to advise me step by step tutorial to bring disk useable?
Thanks

Did you run fdisk again and add a partition?

I have been trying again fdisk
At selection 1 and again 1 at primary Dos partition
Hangs at “Verifying drive Integrity between 0% - 5%” alternately – during 2-hrs check
Now I am leaving it for overnight and will give you the finding result next day for further advice
Thanks

Note:- The previous fdisk were created by fdisk /mbr and than format c: /u pop was
“Invalid media or Track 0 bad disk unusable”

According to Microsoft:
The Format command can accommodate defective sectors on the disk, except those near the beginning. If the disk is a floppy disk, use another disk. If the disk is a hard disk, contact your hardware vendor.

That last line in bold means, based on what you've already tried and that you said, "had too many bad clusters," that the drive is most likely beyond help.

"Verifying drive Integrity between 0% - 7%" could not increase drive integrity
even after overnight check - so I was unable to fdisk
If any other command / trick to bring this hard drive in service or discard it?

You might try the diagnostic software form the manufacturer
and write all zeros to the drive to see if it can recover the
bad sectors, but it really sounds like the drive is history.
