Recently Scan Disk has been starting a thorough system check each time I start up. Any ideas why this is? I scan, defrag and download Windows Updates regularly. I've been to Microsoft's site, followed the advice listed here
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;EN-US;273017 and I downloaded the Windows IDE Hard Drive Cache package, but Scan Disk still runs each time. Please help! It's very annoying. |

Have you downloaded any MP3's? If so you may have a corrupt MP3 file and if you have played this file wint Media Player, Scandisk will continously pick up on this error.
To fix - delete the corrupt MP3. Run Scandisk on the drive/partition where the MP3 was located. That will fix. |
