Was reading another thread and it touched on the subject on spending too much time on the computer. I was wondering, how many members here have skipped work because of your computer activity.

I know I have several times.

It would be the other way around for me. I spend all day on a computer and if I have nothing to do (meaning everything is working well) then I have a little surf about or play poker :)

I used to take days off uni because i'd been up all night playing poker or chatting with mates, but that was uni :D

I'm retired now, but when I was working there was no need to skip work to be on the computer-I had one on my desk. :) One of my biggest problems was that I had a worker who would come to work at 4 o'clock in the morning and surf porn sites before anyone else got there. We kept getting loaded up with malware-took a while to catch him. :)

My work follows me, so it doesn't matter where I am!
When your work is like play - who cares!

I don't have work anymore, living on borrowed time. One up from a bum, I guess.

I'm currently a person of leisure but that's soon going to change.

When I was working I was in charge so it didn't matter. It's great being King:thrilled:
