Windows Media Player Fullscreen on Secondary Display?
I now have my computer constantly hooked directly to my tv and monitor. I was wondering, since i've had no success thus far, is there a way i can have windows media player, on a my tv, full screen playing something? Im using a geforce 4 mx 420, and everytime i put it to full screen, the fullscreen part shows up on my monitor, rather than my tv (this is with the "extend desktop to this display" feature enabled and the media player window at the secondary display (the tv in this case).
thanx for any help, and if need be i can clarify if the above doesn't make sense to some. |

Sorry, fullscreen is always displayed on the primary monitor. Maybe it'll be fixed in WMP9, I haven't downloaded it yet.

Hmmm... I have an ATI video card, but if I set my TV to the primary display, (in my case a video projector via S-video) it displays full screen no problem. Whichever display I set to primary, diplays the full screen in both WMP, and Real.
Do you have the latest nVidia drivers? |

also w/ PowerDVD you can send the video to the TV and leave the controls on your monitor. Just a useful tip if you didn't know it

ah. i think there's a misunderstanding. i meant if i had the desktop split and then sent the window to the tv (it's possible with nView) and then tried fullscreen with it on tv, i wanted it that way so i could watch movies and work at the same time. with clone it works fine.
