Router/Modem Question

I have recently changed my Internet connection, and with it they gave me a wirless Modem/router, so would the internet connection comming through my modem be considered comming through a router?

Sounds like they gave you a combo device, one piece of equipment acting as both the modem and the router. So yes, you would be connecting to the internet through a router.
