Router as hub/switch?

Can i use the 4 port hub/switch on the router by it self?
just not use the uplink/modem port

cause i want to get a wireless router
and use this existing router as a hub

You can "piggyback" routers that way sure. Just be sure on the wired router to turn off dhcp and give it a static ip address thats within the wireless routers range. Give it the same subnet mask and make the default gateway the wireless routers ip address "not the public but the private".

how will the router you will be using as a hub be connected to the wireless router??

i bought an access point instead
