I have a modem blaster flash 56 The model number DE5620 .I Can't find the drivers for it at the web site .Does anyone know were i can get them? I need them for winxp.If you find them can u let me know please.

I went there and the the drivers did not work the way they should they were just two notepads .Does anyone know how to hook them up I'm lost? If u do help me out please.

When you go to Control Panel->Add Hardware, the Add New Hardware Wizard will ask you where the drivers are. You need to specify one of those files you download (they're not Notepad files, they're .ini files, which are drivers, but just happen to open in Notepad by default).

The modem is hook up and when i hit the connect button {it tell me to try again}.the modem does not dail out or make a noise!:disgust:

Are there any lights on the modem??

Yes there is lights on the modem and it it is plug into the computer . The drivers are installed . I have to switch to that modem to dail out and nothing happens. So i go back to my old one.

Did you set up the modem in Control Panel and Internet Options to dial out a connection??

No i did't set it up to dail out I guess that would work:dizzy: .So how would i do that. Can you give me a hand on it ?

Control Panel>Modems
Control Panel>Internet Options>Connections
Just set up everything the same way your old one is set up..

So even if the old one is set up i have to set this one up to? With a new connection. So what do i do in the internet Options?

Yes.. the new modem has no idea what you want it to do..
Go to Internet Options>Connections and set up a dialup connection using the new modem..

Well i did that and still nothing happens when I try to dail it gives me a error .It tells me 633 and to redail again. Do u think since it was for windows 95 & 98 that windows xp it will not work?

Nothing happen when i did that still nothing coming from the modem. It tell to redial again and i try that over and over again .It is used on windows 95&98 could xp not work with it?

You would need the drivers specific for XP..

In control panel the device is working fine windows xp pick it up. Do i plug it in the communications port #1.Thats where igot it plug into?

I did all of that and still nothing happens when i dail out but I get a redail error.The lights are no the modem and pluged into the comm port on the back of the computer.Windows xp said it was install.

External modems have separate power supply.. Does yours and is it plugged in??
Whick Comm port do the instructions say to plug it into?? Comm1 is normally the serial mouse port!!
