Can't use the internet...

Ok, so I recently wiped my hard drive, and reinstalled windows XP Pro, but now it will not let me use the internet...at all...I have a router, with three other computers attached to it and they all work fine...prior to the hard drive wipe this computer worked fine...now I can't get on the internet. Please Help!

One of the first things to check is if after the reinstall Windows picked up your network adapter. Look in device manager for "network adapter" then see if yours is listed. If its not then Windows did not install it. If it is listed does it have a ! or ? beside it?

Yes my network adapter is there and does not have a ?/! next to it.

Edit: Actually, now I have two network adapters on the list (I think that I overlooked the second one the first time), and the second one has an ! next to it.
