No doubt some bloody retailer thought it up. May he rot in hell forever and be infested with the fleas of a thousand camels. :curse:

Not really. You can buy kids stuff anytime if you want to...or anyone else for that matter... just not be forced to do it at a certain time to boost greedy retailers profits. (and governments)
It's here to stay sadly.. but it should just be for kids.. it is their time.
Adults should realalize they are being manipulated.

It's great, all this Father Christmas nonsense.
I did it for the works children's party a week last Sunday - their little faces were fantastic, you can't pay for that sort of magic.
If you are worried about the retailers -stuff em, don't give them the trade.
Plenty of room to celebrate your religious beliefs during the festive season, same as at Easter and any other significant religious festival, if you so wish.

Crimbo has turned into a farce. If religion is what it's all about... fine. Let the god bods celebrate it. It's just a retail frenzy these days... nobody can argue with that.
I'm all for crimbo.... maybe every 10 years or so.. but as a yearly enforced thing to boost the economy.. and plunge countless people into debt.. it's not on.
Maybe I am on my own with this thought... seems logical to me?
